Lisa Nurnberger

Lisa Nurnberger has a diverse work experience in the fields of media and journalism. Lisa started their career in 2000 as a Capitol Hill Reporter for WTOP Federal News Radio, where they covered various aspects of the federal government. In 2001, Lisa joined WAMU as a Senior Broadcast Reporter, where they wrote and produced long-form features and served as a substitute local host for Morning Edition and All Things Considered. Lisa then moved on to the Union of Concerned Scientists in 2007, where they worked as a Press Secretary until 2014 and later became the Media Director. Overall, Lisa has a strong background in journalism, with experience in reporting, producing, and hosting.

Lisa Nurnberger studied journalism at Penn State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
