Bob Salo has over three decades of experience in food safety and quality assurance within the food distribution and military sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Food Safety/Quality & Regulatory Affairs at UniPro Foodservice since July 2016, Bob Salo acts as a senior counselor to executive management and over 650 membership companies, focusing on food safety and regulatory affairs for the largest food distribution cooperative in the U.S. Previously, Bob Salo was the Director of Food Safety & Quality at Performance Food Group, where responsibilities included overseeing the development and enhancement of food safety programs. Bob Salo's earlier roles include Senior Food Safety Officer at the Joint Culinary Center of Excellence and Veterinary Services Technician in the U.S. Army. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and two Bachelor of Applied Science degrees from the University of Tennessee and The University of the State of New York.
