David Woollard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in knowledge and technology transfer, intellectual property management, and commercialization within academia and the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as an Investment Committee Member at Uniseed and as the STEM Lead for Knowledge and Technology Transfer at the University of Melbourne, David has held significant roles at Deakin University, including Senior Translation and IP Manager, overseeing the university’s IP portfolio and commercialization strategies. David’s background also includes positions as an Investment Analyst at the Trans Tasman Commercialisation Fund, Business Development Consultant at BioComm Squared, and Senior Scientist at AdAlta Pty Ltd. David holds a PhD in Immunology from the University of Melbourne and an MBA focused on business management and technology commercialization. Additionally, David completed the Company Directors Course on Corporate Governance at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
