Michael Angliss is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercialisation and sustainability, currently serving as Chair of the Commercialisation and Sustainability Committee for the Artificial Heart Frontiers Program since April 2024, and Head of Commercialisation for Physical Sciences at Monash University since August 2023. Angliss has been an Investment Committee Member at Uniseed since February 2018 and held various directorships, including at PERKii Pty Ltd, ProGel Pty Ltd, and SMART Arm Pty Ltd from 2012 to 2023, where significant advancements in health and technology were achieved. Previous roles include Chief Intellectual Property Officer and Director of Commercial Engagement at UniQuest Pty Ltd from 2007 to 2023, and partnership roles in intellectual property law at Cullen & Co and Pizzeys Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. Michael Angliss holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Chemistry from Monash University and is a registered patent attorney in Australia.
