Urs Matter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various technology companies. Currently serving as President of the Board of Directors at UNISERS Ltd and TOFWERK, Matter also holds a position on the Advisory Board of Sentech and has been a board member at Nanosurf, where responsibilities include overseeing the development and sales of advanced microscopy solutions. Previously, Matter was CEO of Hy-Tech AG, focusing on miniaturized sensor technologies, and Head of Business Unit Analytics at Comet Yxlon, where the development of specialized MALDI-TOF instruments took place. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Siemens in Europe, including Head of Performance Contracting and in sensor development. Matter holds a PhD in Solid State Physics from ETH Zürich.
