Jason Donkin

Jason Donkin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jason currently holds the position of Enterprise Cloud Architect at UniSuper since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Solutions Architect (pre-sales) at Olikka from August 2019 to September 2020.

From 2016 to 2019, Jason served as a Solutions Architect at AustralianSuper, where they provided Infrastructure and Cloud solutions in an APRA regulated environment. Jason'srole involved supporting the organization's digital strategy by implementing solutions for B2B, B2C, and B2E channels. Jason worked on projects involving CRM (MS Dynamics), Azure based SiteCore platform, and integration services using an API GW.

Before joining AustralianSuper, Jason worked at The Australian Red Cross Blood Service as a Solutions Architect from 2010 to 2016. In this role, they were responsible for creating solution architecture designs and producing analysis papers for various infrastructure projects. Jason also evaluated and recommended emerging technologies.

From 2008 to 2010, Jason worked as a Technical Services Manager at WorkSafe. Jason managed a team and ensured stable and cost-effective IT asset management. Jason also played a key role in building relationships with vendors and creating project budgets.

Prior to that, they were a Senior Systems Engineer at Coles Group from 2007 to 2008. Jason'sresponsibilities included scoping, costing, designing, and implementing enterprise Unix based IT solutions. Before that, they were a Systems Engineer at Coles Group from 2005 to 2007, where they supported outsourced mission-critical IT infrastructure.

Jason began their career as a Systems Engineer at HP in 2001 before moving on to work as an IT Assistant at CA - Computer Associates from 1998 to 2000.

Jason Donkin attended Swinburne University of Technology from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Information Technology. In addition to their degree, Jason has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1996, they received a Private Pilot Licence (PPL(A)) from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. In 2011, they obtained the PRINCE2 certification from the Office of Government Commerce (OGC). Jason also holds two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): they became an AWS Technical Professional in 2014 and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect in 2015.
