Dessie Tarlton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and technical oversight in global health and development sectors. Currently serving as Technical Manager for Equitable Access to Health Products at Unitaid since March 2017, Dessie oversees a significant investment portfolio focused on tuberculosis innovations for vulnerable populations in low and middle-income countries. Previously, Dessie held roles at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, managing multiple international projects, and at Habitat for Humanity International, where Dessie coordinated country program planning. Additional experience includes working with UNDP on capacity development evaluations and roles in the investment sector with Bahrain Capital and CB Richard Ellis. Dessie holds an International Organizations MBA from the University of Geneva and a Bachelor of Science in Politics and Economics from the University of Bath.
