Oana Baban

Oana Baban is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in grant management and program support. Currently serving as a Programme Officer at Unitaid since February 2016, Oana acts as a focal point for grantees, facilitating proposal development, grant implementation, and monitoring. Prior to this role, Oana held the position of Programme Support Officer, providing administration and support throughout the grant lifecycle, and began with responsibilities as an Assistant focused on grant agreement developments. Before joining Unitaid, Oana was the Field Trials Manager at Vestergaard, where the creation of evidence dossiers and presentation of research at international forums were key responsibilities. Oana's career began as an Administrative Assistant supporting a large team and coordinating global office operations. Academically, Oana holds a Master's degree in Clinical Trials from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University Aix Provence.
