Omelia Steward has extensive experience in financial aid and student finance, currently serving as a Financial Aid Officer at Unitech Training Academy since January 2019 and as a Student Finance Specialist at Virginia College since September 2013. Unitech Training Academy

Unitech Training Academy was granted a license by the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education on April 24, 1997, and became a fully operational proprietary school. Beginning with one program, the Certified Nursing Assistant program, the school now offers other programs to meet the needs and demands of the local communities in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Unitech Training Academy is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Regents, the Commission on Proprietary Schools, the College Registration in Mississippi, and the Private School Licensure Division of the Alabama Community College System. Unitech Training Academy has been accredited since 2003 by the Council on Occupational Education.
