Teresa Benito Lopez has over a decade of experience in international development and humanitarian aid, primarily with the United Nations. Currently serving as the Fund Coordination Manager for the Spotlight Initiative, Teresa is instrumental in a global partnership aimed at eliminating violence against women and girls. Previous roles include Programme Specialist at the UN Democracy Fund, where Teresa managed a diverse project portfolio across multiple regions, and Programme and Grantmaking Specialist at UN Women, focusing on women's political and economic empowerment. Teresa's extensive experience encompasses program design, fundraising, and management in various capacities, demonstrating a strong commitment to human rights and social justice. Teresa holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Sciences Po and has completed additional studies at The Fletcher School at Tufts University and ICADE & ESC Reims.
