Terry Bowman has extensive experience in software engineering and technology roles, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineering Manager at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) since April 2015. Prior to this, Terry was a Senior Developer at Knight Software, Inc., where responsibilities included maintaining software for mental health clinics and overseeing company servers, with a focus on data security and compliance with HIPAA standards. Other roles include tech volunteer at Mechanicsville Christian Center, website maintenance for the Northside Outreach Center, Senior Design Engineer at QS/1 Data Systems, and Power Plant Leadworker at James River Correctional Center. Terry’s professional journey began in the US Navy as an Engineering Laboratory Technician. Education includes an Associate in Science degree in Computer Science from Tidewater Community College.
