Wonsun Hwang

WonSun Hwang is a finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting, and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Finance & Corporate Service at UOB since June 2021, WonSun previously held the position of General Manager at Standard Chartered Bank from 2010 to 2021, where responsibilities included financial reporting, accounting advisory, and IFRS9 implementation. Prior to this, WonSun worked as a Manager at KPMG, providing consulting services related to IFRS implementation and internal control systems for financial institutions. Additional experience includes serving as an Internal Auditor in the Republic of Korea Air Force, focusing on budget execution and accounting audits, and starting a career as a Staff Accountant at EY. WonSun holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Sogang University.
