Daniel Higgins

Daniel Higgins is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the VP and Chief Information Officer at United Rentals since June 2006, Daniel oversees all aspects of IT, including applications, infrastructure, and information security. Prior positions at United Rentals include VP of IT Infrastructure & Operations and VP of IT Corporate Systems, where responsibilities encompassed data centers, disaster recovery, financial systems, and corporate program management. Prior to United Rentals, Daniel held senior IT roles at The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc., including IT Senior Director, Planning & Risk Management, where a strategic IT plan was developed, and IT Director, Performance Management Systems, responsible for significant data warehouse migrations. Daniel holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Computer Science from Union College.
