Alex Butler

Alex Butler is an accomplished transformation director currently leading initiatives at United Response since November 2024. With extensive experience in the non-profit sector, Alex serves as Deputy Chair and Chair of the Nominations Committee at SafeLives, a charity focused on ending domestic abuse. Previous roles include Executive Director of Digital at Citizens Advice, responsible for managing budgets and technology leadership, and Chief Digital and Information Officer at the University of Bath, where Alex oversaw digital transformation strategies. A strategic advisor at Middlesex University, Alex has contributed to designing digital and technology transformation roadmaps. Academic credentials include a B.Ed (Hons) in English and Drama from Kingston University.
