Samuel Yohannes has an extensive work experience spanning from 1992 to the present. Samuel currently holds the position of Vice President of Finance at United Utility since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Finance at BHI Energy from March 2022 to June 2023. From 2015 to 2022, they were the Director of Finance, Projects and Construction at Day & Zimmermann. Before that, they served as the Lead Project Controller at Alstom Grid from July 2013 to February 2015. Samuel also worked as the Project Controller/ Finance Manager at AREVA Solar from January 2011 to April 2013 and as the Unit Project Controller at AREVA RENEWABLE Inc from November 2009 to January 2012. Samuel Yohannes has also held multiple roles at Gamesa Wind US, including Controller (Construction and Commercial Group) from January 2008 to September 2009 and Project Controller from June 2007 to September 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Accountant at Michael Baker Jr from January 2003 to June 2007 and as a Lead Project Accountant at Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc from May 2001 to December 2003. Samuel started their career as an Intern at UTC from 1992 to 1996.
Samuel Yohannes completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Lincoln University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
