Janet Whetzel

Janet Whetzel, CMP, has extensive experience in event operations and management, currently serving as the Director of Operations, Events & Engagement at United Way Worldwide since 1985. In this role, Janet is a key member of the leadership team for the Conferences & Event Services group, overseeing finance and operations while managing a small team responsible for the planning, production, and delivery of various conferences and events. Prior to this position, Janet worked as an Office Manager at James H. Shaffer Associates from 1983 to 1985, where responsibilities included managing a ten-person office, accounts receivables/payables, and payroll for an architectural and construction firm.
