Carlos Jorge

Carlos Jorge is an accomplished Information Systems professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as the Information Systems Director at Unitel since 2018, Carlos oversees operations for Angola's largest mobile operator. Previously, Carlos held the position of Group CIO at Inapa - Investimentos, Participações e Gestão SA from 2007 to 2018, where strategic objectives for IT operations were defined. Earlier roles include Information Systems Director at ONI Telecom, Optimus - Comunicações S.A., and IT Infrastructures Senior Manager at Vodafone (Telecel), along with foundational experience as a Telecommunications Engineer at Portugal Telecom and Roussel Uclaf SA. Carlos holds a five-year degree in Informatics and Systems Engineering from Universidade do Minho and studied at Université de Bordeaux.
