Zainab Sajid is currently a Mechanical Engineer Intern at GE Aerospace since June 2024 and serves as a Student Ambassador at Unitemps since December 2021, where responsibilities include engaging with prospective students about studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Nottingham. Zainab has been a Peer Mentor at the University of Nottingham from August 2022 to June 2024, assisting new students and facilitating departmental events. Previously, Zainab participated in the STEM mentor program, promoting careers in STEM to young female students through outreach and presentations focused on sustainability. Additionally, Zainab volunteered at Rickmansworth Park Junior School, where lesson plans were developed and assistance was provided to Year 6 pupils. Zainab is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Nottingham, with an expected graduation in 2026, following earlier education at Rickmansworth School.
