Shane Tonkin is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Executive Manager of Financial Services at Uniting Communities, a major provider of services to over 80,000 South Australians. Prior to this role, Shane held directorial positions at Leidos Australia and Cobham Aviation Services, specializing in financial management for airborne solutions and special missions, respectively. Shane spent over five years as a Partner in Deloitte Australia’s Financial Advisory service line, where leadership included managing business modelling teams in South Australia and Victoria. Earlier in Shane's career, roles included Director of Business Modelling across the Middle East and Associate Director in Corporate Finance Advisory, alongside work at Equity & Advisory Limited and starting in Deloitte's Adelaide practice. Shane holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment, is a Chartered Accountant, and possesses a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of South Australia.
