Craig Barke serves as the Chief Executive Officer of UnitingCare Queensland since December 2017 and holds a Board Member position at Australian Regional and Remote Community Services Ltd, having previously chaired the board from 2019 to 2024. Barke has also been a Non-Executive Director for both UnitingCare Australia and Leap in! from 2018 to 2023. Barke's leadership experience includes serving as Board Chair and Board Member at UnitingCare Queensland from 2011 to 2017 and as Chief Executive Officer at Scenic Rim Regional Council from 2008 to 2017. Additional experience includes roles as Deputy CEO and Finance Manager at Beaudesert Shire Council, and Financial Controller at Food Science Australia from 1997 to 2004. Barke's educational background includes an MBA from Griffith University and credentials from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and CPA Australia.
