Marisa Cicero, MSW RSW, currently serves as the Senior Clinical Program Director for Women + Children's Health at Unity Health Toronto since May 2023. Prior to this role, Marisa held several leadership positions at the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies from May 2018 to May 2023, including Director of Service, Learning + Shared Services, where responsibilities included serving as Privacy Designate and COVID-19 Lead. Additional experience includes directing health disciplines practice and education at St. Michael's Hospital from August 2009 to May 2018, managing various practice needs, and working as a clinical social worker in obstetrics and pediatric settings. Marisa's earlier career involved roles at the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services, The Hospital for Sick Children, and various councils in the UK, focusing on child welfare and special needs. Marisa holds a Master of Social Work from the University of East London and a Bachelor of Social Work from Carleton University.
