Anna Jackson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the water services sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Unitywater since July 2022, Anna oversees essential water services for millions in South East Queensland. Anna's previous roles include General Manager at SA Water, where responsibilities encompassed customer experience, business strategy, and community engagement. Anna has contributed to key committees, including the Liveable Communities Committee for the Water Services Association of Australia and the Advisory Committee for the Australian Water Partnership. With a background in international development at Coffey, Anna has led programs for donor governments across Asia Pacific. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Australia and a Company Director designation from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Unitywater provides essential water supply and sewage treatment services to residents and businesses in the Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions. Every day Unitywater operates and maintains more than $3.4 billion of essential infrastructure, delivers quality drinking water and treats 60 Olympic-sized swimming pools worth of sewage for over 17% of Queensland’s population, spread across 5223 square km. Operations began on 1 July 2010 under the South-East Queensland Water (Distribution and Retail) Act 2009, as part of the Queensland Government water reform program. Unitywater is governed by an independent Board of Directors. Unitywater is committed to helping prevent and respond to violence against women and is proud to be a White Ribbon Accredited Workplace.
