Celia Farnan is an experienced professional in customer research and insights, currently serving as the Customer Research and Insights Lead at Unitywater since October 2017, after holding the position of Senior Customer Research Officer. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Consultant at Kantar Public from October 2010 to October 2017, and a Research Specialist Contractor at TNS Global and Nielsen from 2004 to 2010. Celia began a career in research at the Queensland Police Service as a Senior Research and Evaluation Officer from 2002 to 2004. Celia holds a Bachelor of Business with a Marketing Major from the Queensland University of Technology and attended Mt St Michaels College in Ashgrove.

Unitywater provides essential water supply and sewage treatment services to residents and businesses in the Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions. Every day Unitywater operates and maintains more than $3.4 billion of essential infrastructure, delivers quality drinking water and treats 60 Olympic-sized swimming pools worth of sewage for over 17% of Queensland’s population, spread across 5223 square km. Operations began on 1 July 2010 under the South-East Queensland Water (Distribution and Retail) Act 2009, as part of the Queensland Government water reform program.
