Wayne Roberts is an experienced Data Architect and Modeler currently at Unitywater since September 2023. Previously, Wayne held significant roles at the Transport Accident Commission, serving as Manager of Information Management & Analytics and Information Architect between July 2016 and October 2023. Prior to that, Wayne was a Data Warehouse Consultant and Solution Architect at the Department of Human Services from January 2011 to June 2016. Wayne's earlier career includes consultancy roles at Virtsol Pty Ltd as a CRM and Data Warehouse Consultant and at AGL as a Senior Analyst/Programmer. Wayne's foundational experience began at United Energy Pty Ltd as a Contract Senior Analyst/Programmer. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Technology from Deakin University and is a Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner, with additional qualifications in TOGAF 9.

Unitywater provides essential water supply and sewage treatment services to residents and businesses in the Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions. Every day Unitywater operates and maintains more than $3.4 billion of essential infrastructure, delivers quality drinking water and treats 60 Olympic-sized swimming pools worth of sewage for over 17% of Queensland’s population, spread across 5223 square km. Operations began on 1 July 2010 under the South-East Queensland Water (Distribution and Retail) Act 2009, as part of the Queensland Government water reform program.
