Yvette Skinner is a highly experienced professional in infrastructure management, currently serving as the Infrastructure Standards Manager at Unitywater since August 2020. Yvette's previous roles include Senior Program Engineer & Project Manager at Queensland Urban Utilities, where major achievements included delivering a $13 million bio-solids dewatering upgrade, and Senior Project Manager at Seqwater, where asset improvement projects were successfully managed. Yvette has also held leadership positions at Gladstone Regional Council and LinkWater, overseeing significant capital programs and projects, including a $30 million CAPEX program and the $187 million Toowoomba Pipeline project. With a robust educational background, including a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from Queensland Institute of Technology and diplomas in Project Management and Management Technology, Yvette has a proven track record in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and contract management.

Unitywater provides essential water supply and sewage treatment services to residents and businesses in the Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions. Every day Unitywater operates and maintains more than $3.4 billion of essential infrastructure, delivers quality drinking water and treats 60 Olympic-sized swimming pools worth of sewage for over 17% of Queensland’s population, spread across 5223 square km. Operations began on 1 July 2010 under the South-East Queensland Water (Distribution and Retail) Act 2009, as part of the Queensland Government water reform program.
