Douglas Wright is an accomplished Software Architect at Universal Audio, leading the software team in the development of UAFX Guitar Pedals and companion applications since February 2019. Prior to this role, Douglas served as President & CEO of Sonoma Wire Works from March 2003 to February 2019, where significant projects included the creation of DrumCore, RiffWorks, FourTrack, and several USB/Lightning interfaces. Experience also includes positions as Adjunct Faculty at Cogswell Polytechnical College, Senior Software Engineer at Bias, Inc., and Audio Software Engineer at Be Inc., showcasing a diverse background in audio software development and education. Douglas began the career as a Junior Software Engineer at Diamond Multimedia and contributed to the SFSU Multimedia Studies Program as a Digital Audio Instructor. Educational qualifications include studies at the University of Silicon Valley, Occidental College, and a Certificate in Recording Engineering from California Recording Institute.
