Julia Carnap has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Julia began their career in 2002 as an editorial worker for internet radio Rockfun24 and later worked as an intern for TEMA Technologie Marketing AG. Julia then moved on to roles at Vizeum Germany, starting as an International Account Executive (Trainee) and then progressing to positions such as International Strategy Manager, where they were responsible for complex projects and supporting new business initiatives. Julia joined Mindshare in 2017 as a Strategy Senior Consultant and later became a Strategy Supervisor, overseeing strategic activities. Currently, they are working at UM | Universal McCann GmbH, initially as Head of Strategy and currently as Strategy Director. Julia'swork at UM involves developing strategic plans and managing the overall strategic direction for the company.

Julia Carnap holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Mannheim, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Julia also completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Media Management from the Institute of Journalism and Communication Research, HMTM Hannover, from 2010 to 2013. Julia also had a semester abroad at the University of Navarra in 2012 as part of the Erasmus grant program. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained certifications in Red Team Thinking, as well as various Agile courses from LinkedIn.
