Jakob Ormhøj

Jakob Ormhøj is a highly experienced engineering professional with a specialization in embedded systems and robotics. Currently serving as a Principal Firmware Engineer at Universal Robots since April 2015, Jakob has also held positions as Senior Embedded Software Engineer and Embedded Software Engineer within the company. Previous experience includes working as an Embedded Software Engineer at Sennheiser Communications from September 2014 to March 2015 and as a Research and Development Engineer at DETECH from January 2009 to June 2011. Jakob holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Robot System Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark, completed in 2014, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering with a focus on embedded hardware and software from the same university, obtained in 2010.
