Shintaro Ryu has a range of experience in the entertainment and marketing industry. Shintaro began their career as a Publicist at USJ Co., Ltd., where they handled media coverage and PR events. Shintaro then worked as a Producer at F-EMOTION, organizing events for luxury brands. After that, Shintaro moved on to Konami Digital Entertainment as a Marketing Manager, overseeing exhibitions and sales promotion. Shintaro later joined WDI Japan as the Sales and Marketing Director of American Dining Division and Hard Rock Café Japan, where they focused on rebranding and creating memorable customer experiences. Shintaro then joined Moomin Monogatari Co., Ltd. as the General Manager of Sales and Marketing, leading the commercialization of a major theme park project. Shintaro then transitioned to Redhorse Edutainment Co., Ltd. as the General Manager of Business Development, where they developed educational and entertainment content and managed marketing and business development divisions. Currently, Shintaro is the Director of Entertainment Support and Planning at USJ LLC.
Shintaro Ryu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Film and Media Arts from Temple University between 1994 and 1999. In 2005, they obtained a certification as an Event Administrator from the Japan Association for the Promotion of Creative Events. In 2013, they obtained a TOEIC score of 915.

Universal Studios Japan (ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパン), located in Osaka, is one of six Universal Studios theme parks, owned and operated by USJ LLC, which is wholly owned by NBCUniversal (as of 2017). Within NBCUniversal, we are the theme park with the highest annual attendance. Here at USJ, where we welcome so many guests, there are more than 10,000 crew members playing an active part working in the park. At USJ LLC, We have been very successful in the past.
