Javier Prieto

Javier Prieto is an Associate Professor at Universidad de Salamanca, where since January 2015, coordination and execution of over 150 research projects spanning various national and international programs has been expertly managed. As a Distinguished Researcher, Javier led a project on Smart Homes and Gamification and holds leadership roles in IEEE as the Spain Signal Processing and Communications Joint Chapter Chair and Blockchain Local Group Chair. Javier's academic background includes a PhD in Information Technologies and Telecommunications and a Bachelor's in Marketing Research and Techniques, both from Universidad de Valladolid. Prior experience includes co-founding Inngenia.es, serving as a pre- and post-doctoral researcher at Universidad de Valladolid, and engagement in significant research at institutions such as MIT and CEDETEL.
