Aitor Mier Pons

Aitor Mier Pons currently serves as the Director de Proyecto for the Innovación y Desarrollo de la Competición Universitaria de eSports at Universitat de Barcelona, leading all aspects of this pioneering initiative. As the CEO and Blockchain Architect at Omashu since June 2018, Aitor has positioned the company at the forefront of innovation in both electronic and traditional sports through advanced solutions that incorporate machine learning, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology. Previous roles include Blockchain Architect at Airplane Solutions, where Aitor focused on research and development in Hyperledger Fabric, and Blockchain Developer positions at Caelum Labs and Opentrends, specializing in Smart Contracts and decentralized applications. Aitor holds a Master of Business Administration from EAE Business School and a degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat de Barcelona.
