Qazim Tahiri has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 when they worked as an IT HELP DESK at IOM Kosovo, where they were responsible for data entry, record maintenance, and computer network design. Qazim then moved on to St@r.Net company in 2002, where they worked as a Manager until 2013. In 2008, they joined the University of Prishtina as a Network Administrator, overseeing the planning and operations management of computer networks. Qazim also held the position of Senator at the university from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, Tahiri worked at RIPE from 2014 to 2018, where they served as KOSX. Currently, they hold the position of D.Ex Head of IT at the University of Prishtina, starting from February 2022.
Qazim Tahiri completed high school at Ulpiana Lipjan Kosovo from 1990 to 1994, earning a Gymnasium Diploma with a focus in Mathematics. Qazim then attended the University of Prishtina, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they pursued further education at the University of Prishtina and attained a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Qazim also holds certifications in CCNA and CCNP, which they obtained from Bild Networks and Firewalls in September 2002.
