David Voran is a Professor of Medicine and Associate Professor in Clinical Informatics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where contributions include developing a practical informatics program for residents. Concurrently, David serves as the Medical Director of the Bess Truman Family Medicine Center at Truman Medical Center - Lakewood. Previous roles include Medical Director of Clinical Process Improvement at Heartland Regional Medical Center, where David led innovations in a production ambulatory clinic, and Medical Director of the Innovation Clinic at Heartland Health, focusing on improving primary care delivery through technology. David's early career included consulting as a Physician Executive at Cerner Corporation and managing information technology systems at KU Medical Center and University of Kansas Hospital. Academic qualifications consist of an MD from the University of Kansas Medical Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical and Biological Anthropology from Wichita State University.
