Fields has held significant positions at Truman Medical Centers from July 2002, including Director of Security and Assistant Director of Security. Previous roles include serving as an Officer, Sergeant, and Interim Manager at Bethany Medical Center in Kansas City, KS, from 1991 to July 2002, and as a Patrol Officer at Grandview Police Department from 1989 to 1991. Earlier experience includes positions as Deputy Sheriff with Jackson County Sheriff's Department from 1986 to 1989 and DFO with KCPD from 1983 to 1986. Educational background includes attendance at Grandview High School in Missouri from 1979 to 1981.
