Laura Connolly, RN, MSN, MBA, CPHQ, currently serves as the Director of Nursing for Inpatient Behavioral Health at University Health KC since June 2023. Prior to this role, Laura held key positions including Vice President of Quality Improvement and Process Improvement at Sunflower Health Plan, and various managerial roles at GEHA Health focused on quality management and integrated care. Laura's extensive career also includes significant contributions to UnitedHealth Group in multiple leadership and management capacities. An experienced educator, Laura served as a Faculty Practitioner at the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2018. Laura's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from Avila University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Creighton University, and a Master's Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from Saint Louis University.
