Susan Ruiz possesses extensive experience in mental health services, specifically for adults with severe persistent mental illness. Currently serving as the Intensive Community Services Team Leader at Truman Medical Centers since February 2013, Susan supervises a team of eight case workers to deliver mental health interventions and community outreach to homeless individuals. Previous roles include Service Coordinator and CSS Director/Service Manager at Wyandot Center, where Susan managed crisis stabilization programs and ensured access to mental health services. Additional experience includes positions at Guidance Center, where Susan focused on clinical management and program development for youth and adult services. Susan holds both a Master and Bachelor degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University.
