Wayne D. Carter, MHA, is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in medical imaging and outpatient cardiovascular services. Currently serving as Corporate Director of Medical Imaging at University Health KC since January 2019, Wayne has a strong background in program development, talent recruitment, and revenue management. Prior roles include Director of Medical Imaging and Outpatient Cardiovascular Services at St. David's HealthCare and Director of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Services at Summit Medical Center. Earlier positions also included Director of Medical Imaging and Manager of Radiology at Lee Memorial Health System. Wayne holds a Master’s Degree in Health/Healthcare Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology from Howard University.
