Julia Zachary is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and public relations. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator for the University Interscholastic League since November 2019, Julia acts as the primary media relations representative and spokesperson for the organization. Prior roles include Communications Manager at Integrate Agency, where Julia progressed from Account Director to Senior Account Executive, following the agency's rebranding from Wellington Group Marketing & PR. Julia's earlier experience includes positions as Account Coordinator, Assistant Account Coordinator, and roles in marketing and campaign management, solidifying a strong foundation in public relations and promotional projects. Julia holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin.

The UIL has grown into the largest interschool organization of its kind in the world. The voluntary membership organization exists to provide educational extracurricular academic, athletic and music contests. For more than a century the UIL has helped mold the leaders of tomorrow, and it will continue to do so for the next 100 years.
