Cari Oliver

Cari Oliver serves as the Program Director III at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, leading special projects for the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences within a multi-institutional CTSA program. With a strong background in program development and clinical initiatives, Cari has directed the Global and Rural Women's Health division and has undertaken efforts to eliminate cervical cancer in underserved areas. Previous experience includes roles at Southern Research Institute, where Cari supervised study coordination and compliance in a regulated environment, along with earlier positions in addiction counseling and report writing. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Theatre from Birmingham-Southern College. Additionally, Cari contributes as a Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts of North Central Alabama.
