Tyler Greer

Tyler Greer has extensive experience in public relations and marketing, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Public Relations & Marketing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since March 2006. In this role, Tyler directs external public relations efforts and manages relationships with news media and social media communications. Previous positions at UAB include Director of Public Relations and Media Relations Manager, covering various medical departments and schools. Tyler's early career includes roles at The Anniston Star and The TimesDaily, where responsibilities included sports writing and editing. Tyler holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism and Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Alabama.
