Wenming (William) Zhang serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta since 2018, previously holding the position of Assistant Professor in the same department. Prior experience includes roles as a Water Resources Engineer with the City of Edmonton from 2016 to 2018 and with ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd from 2015 to 2016. Wenming also completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Alberta and The University of British Columbia between 2012 and 2014. Wenming holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Alberta (2007-2012), a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Hohai University (2004-2007), and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Hohai University (2000-2004).
