Jannet Vaessen

Jannet Vaessen is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership, programming, and sustainable development. Currently, Jannet serves as an author at Uitgeverij Prometheus and coordinates initiatives for Sustainable Development Goals at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, focusing on reducing inequality and promoting gender equality. Jannet is also the initiator of the Sociale Duurzaamheids Alliantie and a member of several prominent organizations, including Omroep HUMAN and Worldconnectors, advocating for social justice and sustainability. Previously, Jannet founded and directed WOMEN Inc., an organization dedicated to accelerating emancipation in the Netherlands, and has a strong background in programming film and television. Jannet's academic credentials include a Master of Science in History with a specialization in Visual Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam and leadership training from reputable institutions.
