Mathias Roesler is currently a Doctoral Student at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, focusing on smooth muscle electrophysiology in the uterus, aiming to enhance the understanding of electric activity in the non-gravid uterus through experimental and modeling work. Previously, Roesler served as a Research Engineer at LICIIS from November 2020 to September 2021, contributing to the AI4DI project to improve yield estimation in the Champagne industry. Other experiences include a Research Intern position at ISIR, where the focus was on extending machine teaching for image classification, and internships at Altametris, Safran Identity & Security, and ISIR, where work ranged from processing thermal images for photogrammetry to programming for haptic interface communication and analyzing facial recognition algorithms. Roesler holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Sorbonne Université and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, along with a semester abroad at The University of Texas at Austin in Aerospace Engineering.
