Shweta Thapa

Shweta Thapa is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Bradford, specializing in Tissue Engineering through innovative additive manufacturing techniques. As the Founder and Managing Director of The Art of Making Foundation, Shweta is dedicated to empowering women and girls in India with STEAM skills via 3D Design and Printing. Prior experience includes serving as the NJ Ambassador for Women in 3D Printing, founding 3Ducators to enhance 3D printing education globally, and roles at various companies where skills in engineering, design, and commercialization of technology were honed. Shweta holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and a degree in Tech Commercialization and Entrepreneurship from Rutgers University, as well as a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the Army Institute of Technology.
