Ian Bond

Ian Bond is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in engineering and materials science. Since January 1997, Ian Bond has served at the University of Bristol in various leadership roles, including Pro Vice Chancellor and Executive Dean of Science and Engineering, as well as Professor of Aerospace Materials. Ian Bond has also held positions as Dean of Engineering, Head of School of Civil, Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering, and Head of Aerospace Engineering. In addition, Ian Bond was a Visiting Fellow at the Beckman Institute from 2009 to 2010. Ian Bond earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science from the University of Bath between 1991 and 1995.
