Lisa Spears

Lisa Spears is a Doctoral Student at the University of Bucharest, pursuing advanced studies since September 2022. Concurrently, Spears serves as an Independent Travel Agent with Travel Orchestra, utilizing experience in international travel to promote sustainability and humanitarian principles. Prior roles include Human Rights Activist at Breaking Code Silence, and a humanitarian position at the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, where coordination of the UN's response to crises was a focus, as well as organizing the 2016 World Humanitarian Day. Spears has also contributed as a Performer for the Rocky Horror Picture Show Berlin, a Researcher with Windows - Channels for Communication, and a Historian/Archivist at the Cold War History Research Center. Early career experiences include an internship with the United Nations Board of Auditors and legislative analysis for the Governor's Office of Planning and Research. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University and a Bachelor's degree in Politics Studies with an emphasis in History from Westminster University.
