Magdalena Iordache Platis

Pro-Rector, Social Responsibility at University of Bucharest

Vice-rector of the University of Bucharest beginning with 2011 and dean of the Faculty of Business and Administration between 2005 and 2011, Professor Magdalena Iordache Platis, Ph.D. is specialised in economy, business administration and marketing, as she is an active professor with over 25 years of experience in higher education teaching.

Starting with 2009, she is a professor in the staff of the international students’ competition in the field of Markstrat marketing simulations, promoted and organised by the Dukenet consortium. She has been a short- or long-term expert in various national and international projects such as PNII, POSDRU, Life Long Learning or FP7.

Professor Magdalena Iordache Platis obtained her PhD in economy in 1993. Her main fields of interest in research concern: academic leadership, quality management in higher education, business strategies, university-industry cooperation, entrepreneurship and the transfer of competence to students.
