Deborah A Marshall is a highly accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in pediatric health and medical research. Currently serving as a Professor and Scientific Director at the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute within the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine since September 2015, Deborah has also held the position of Scientific Director at the same institute since 2008. In addition to being a Canada Research Chair and Associate Professor, Deborah has held various roles including Associate Professor at the University of Calgary, Researcher, and Dean of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta. Deborah’s leadership experience also includes serving as Director of Health Technology Assessment at the Alberta Bone Joint Health Institute and Vice President at Innovus Research Inc. Deborah holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
