Mina Aminghafari

Mina Aminghafari, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Calgary since 2023, with a previous role as a Senior Data Scientist at Intact from November 2022 to December 2023. Mina has extensive experience in academia, serving as an Associate Professor and Statistician at Amirkabir University of Technology from July 2006 to December 2023, supervising PhD students, authoring research, and providing advisement. Other positions held include Data Scientist at GRICS from November 2018 to November 2022 and Statistician-Research Scientist at the Statistical Research and Training Center from July 2006 to September 2013. Mina has also been the Head of the Statistics Department at Tehran Polytechnic and has lectured at various universities. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Statistics from Paris-Sud University, a Master’s degree and Bachelor's degree from Shiraz University, and certifications in Power BI and Deep Learning Essentials.
