Lance Sayavong

Lance Sayavong is a US Navy Veteran and Desert Storm Combat Medic with extensive experience in veteran advocacy and employment services. Since October 2008, Lance has served as a Staff Trainer and Local Veterans' Employment Representative (LVER) at the Employment Development Department. In addition, Lance holds various advisory positions with multiple councils and committees focused on promoting veteran interests, including roles on the Inland Valleys Employer Advisory Council and the Hemet/Temecula Employer Advisory Council. As a co-founder of VET-NET, Lance actively facilitates career coaching and motivational speaking for veterans. Involved in community service, Lance has volunteered for the Riverside Lunar New Year Festival and has held multiple roles in political campaigns and local governance. Educational qualifications include a BA in History from the University of California, Riverside, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Biology and Chemistry from Santa Ana College.
